Understanding Community Violence

Students will read about some different child experiences of violence and why ending all violence everywhere is key to achieving the SDGs and child rights.

Students will:

• Understand what violence is and how it can exist in different forms
• Explore the different reasons for violence around the world
• Make connections between local experience of violence and global violence
• Develop solutions for preventing violence
