It’s Halftime for the SDGs and if we’re going to win in the “second half” we will all need the skills, mindset and passion to do so.
Education is crucial to the achievement of the Goals yet recent data and reports show that children and young people want to see education transformed to be made more relevant and fit for purpose.
There’s a mismatch here we must resolve.
In our report “Ready, Willing and Able?” we explore the competencies that young people need to take action for sustainability issues. We showcase programmes from around the world who are currently developing these competencies and set out a series of recommendations to expedite competency development for more young people.
