Global Goals Week Toolkit: Circular Design Thinking – Designing for the Circular Economy
Welcome to day 4 of the Global Goals Week Lesson Toolkit. Activities highlighted in day 4 dive into circular design thinking.
This resource was made in partnership with UNICEF. It is a larger resource designed to last approx 10 hours. In it, students will be introduced to design thinking and the design skills they will employ when creating their innovations. At the end of the project, students are encouraged to host a Science Fair, where they can showcase their innovations to parents and other school community members. The Design Thinking Project is split into 10 activities, following the 6 stages of the Design Thinking Cycle.
Feel free to start off the conversation about circular design thinking by watching this video with your class.
