Data Explorers on Minecraft Education
World’s Largest Lesson has partnered with NetApp and ReWrite Edu to create a world on Minecraft Education! Our mission is to gamify data literacy and reach thousands of students with vital data and sustainability skills.
Once students enter the Data Explorers world on Minecraft Education, they will be immersed in an action-packed adventure through magical eco-systems, using data skills to save some of the world’s leading environmental geniuses who have been kidnapped by an inter-dimensional dragon…!
This learning experience will help students learn what data is, how it is collected and verified, and how it can be used in real-world environmental careers. It aims to build foundational data literacy skills to support students in their future lives, and is aligned with curriculum standards including the UNESCO Greening Education Curriculum.
This is the latest in a series of resources harnessing the power of data for the Global Goals.
