However, we understand that everyone is concerned about their data and how it is used:

▪ Via either the paper-based upload format, or the message writing tool, this activity collects the following data from the child taking part: first name, age, and country 

▪ Views on climate change and the value of climate education

World’s Largest Lesson will store this data on our secure server in a restricted access folder, until the end of 2021 and will then review whether this campaign will continue. In which case your data will be held until the end of the campaign.

If children and young people use their own device to create a digital message, their IP address will be collected. Neither this nor the children’s data will be used for any other purpose, nor shared with any other organisation. 

We will not use this information for any other purpose than for this campaign to share the thoughts and feelings of young people about climate education with those that we believe can influence the education of children throughout the world.
