Climate Change Dodgeball, created by our partner Transform Our World, is a fast-paced, physical game that helps students visualise how greenhouse gases trap heat in the Earth’s atmosphere. Acting as the Earth, the Sun, and greenhouse gases, students use bean bags to model the greenhouse effect and explore how increasing emissions make it harder for our planet to stay cool. It’s an active and memorable way to consolidate learning about climate change, teamwork, and the importance of taking action to protect our planet.
SDG skills covered:
Understanding Planetary Boundaries: Recognise how Earth’s life support systems work together and how human activity can push them beyond safe limits.
Collective Action: Work together with others, using empathy, storytelling, and shared purpose to create meaningful change.
Individual Action: Take personal responsibility for sustainability by building healthy habits, resilience, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
